After a presentation by Caroline Bentley, ELTIS Team Leader, on the activities to date, the members were introduced to the ELTIS Master Trainers who had been at IALF Bali since July 2007 and were completing the final weeks of the Cambridge ESOL ICELT and TOT course. The committee had the opportunity to hear first hand how the course had been going and how well prepared they felt to take on their future role as ELTIS Trainers. They reported that they feel more confident about implementing a communicative language teaching approach in their classrooms and the ICELT course will not only help them as ELTIS Trainers, but also with the teaching they do in their own institutions.
