The ELTIS Training Team are currently conducting observed teaching practice as part of their Cambridge ICELT ESOL course. For one month, they are teaching Grade 7 and Grade 9 students at MTs Al-Muhajirin in Denpasar. They have to plan a lesson and teaching materials suitable for their students' level, teach the lesson and then write a reflection on the lesson. Their tutors have been giving them advice and feedback throughout this process.
Their aim is to deliver student-centred, communicative lessons, in which the students are active learners and motivated by the tasks. The trainers have planned some fun activities and the students are having a great time!
